the unheard wordz

I speak, you think. Wether with words or with body, I speak, you think. A square peg, a round hole, your favorite puzzle, your ultimate goal. I speak, you think.

Requests unfulfilled, or just postponed? Scratching my head is just the norm. Feelings of confusions created by different times ticking away at the same time. Is it I who am confused or is it your confusion who confuses us all. My round thoughts swirling around your square hole.

I don't know what you want, i don't know what you expect, i don't know what to say, i don't know what to do, i don't know much. I just know that I can feel, I can feel the words come out of my mouth, hit your wallz and bounce back into me. I wonder how it will all turn out. I know there are lessons in this, I know that I have begun to learn a few. How many more are coming, how many more will do?

I know that you have taught me about my wallz, the ones most don't see, the ones that I don't see, the ones i chose not to see. I great revelation, a powerful one. Your love broke them down like a steady breeze reshapes sand dunes.

Meet my Cannon T1i.

Lets just say that I love craigslists when used  (locally) right. It was a steal of a deal and it included a telephoto which I love using.

I noticed I started liking photography when I started taking alot of pics with my Sony Ericsson 2.0 megapixel phone cam. I got some great shots with it and wanted to do more but was limited by my equipment.

Then Luis and Desire got a Cannon Rebel XS last Xmas and brought it on our trip to Nicaragua.

Since then I have been hooked on these SLR s and their picture quality in comparison with the quick shot cameras.

I have had the camera for almost a month now and I will be displaying my photos on flicker. Stop by and check it out.

Its My Birthday and I will Blog if I want to.

Gosh, that was a queer title but who gives a shit. Its all gravy right? I am going to Key West the Whole weekend, its gonna be warm after the numbing weather we have been experiencing here in south florida. I know that anyone up north will laugh if they ever read this but shit, we are used to having a cold front for a weekend at most, its been almost two and a half weeks of constant cold!

Its warming now and the southern most point in the US is the prime spot to be at this weekend.

Hooray Me and who ever is blessed to go with me.

I will be thanking life and blessing my brothers and sisters in Hati.

Blessings for all.

Crazy Whirlwind of a Year

2009, what a year it was huh?

It was the fastest a year has passed since I have been alive but thats been the case for all years after I turned 21.

It was a year riddled with concerts. Most notably and in no particular order I went to see;
  • Pearl Jam
  • Dave Mathews
  • Incubus
  • 311
  • State Radio
  • Kings of Leon
  • Third Eye Blind
  • Journey
  • Heart
  • Jane's Addiction
  • Nine Ninch Nails
  • Cold Play
I think thats it but I might be wrong, which brings me to my next point. Show up early for the opening act cause they might just make it big and you could be missing out on a great performance. i.e. Kings of Leon.

Lets just say that concerts are one of my new favorite things to attend. Why, you ask?

Simply becuase everyone is gathered there for one reason, to have fun and enjoy music with other music fans. Its a great atmosphere to hang with old friends or meet and greet new friends.

2009 was also a lazy year for me. I was not working for a good 8 1/2 months! Its not what you think thought. I dedicated it to school and really enjoyed not being part of the work force.

Dec 2009 brought that work drought to an end with a Job in Info Tech at UM Health Systems Medical IT Department.

Jobs not half bad exceept for when the crazies, a.k.a. stuck up doctors and nurses flip on you for no particular reason.

2009 Growing Pains:

Even though I am aproching my 28th birthday of which I am still in disbelief, but I digress.
Yes, I am still going through growing pains.

  • Learning to deal with my siblings and close friends relationships: Its a bit frustrating because people tend to indulge themselves in thier new relationships and get infatuated with thier new significant others. I have never subscribed to that train of thought. I feel there needs to be some sort of balance and you need to hang out with your friends atleast once every one to two weeks. More than that and you get to know that old addage. "Out of sight, out of mind."
  • Learning to taper my expectations of others: I consider myself to be an Idealist and Idealist tend to end up as synics becuase thier expectations of the world and the people around them are never met exactly as they are expected to be.
  • Learning new alternatives on how to comunicate my thoughts: Most of the conflicts I have with other people stem from my inability to translate the thoughts in my head into cohernt words. Therefore I spend most of the time explaining how what I said to them was misunderstood and getting frustrated, annoyed and all the crud that comes with those feelings.
  • Learning how to guage my own strength, both physically, mentally and emotionally: A wise friend once told me that I dont know my own strenght, and by strenght she meant the impact I have on the lives of the people around me.
  • Learning how to use my power of will and intention Tebow style in order to acheive my aspirations:
  • Learning to let go of the past and future and just be in the present:

Superman REALLY does wear Tim Tebow PJ's

After another amazing demonstration of pure determination, Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators proved once again to be the cream of the crop in college football. Superman (Tebow)imposed his super will on the Sooners of Oklahoma and led his team to victory in what was the biggest game of his collegiate career.

It was not a very encourage able start as he threw two interceptions in the first half of play after have only thrown 2 (int's) all season. However the game was still up for grabs as the teams headed into the half all tied up at 7-7. It was not what the masses expected out of these two powerhouse offenses, but the defenses were in full display.

The second half seemed to bring new life to the Gators, who had struggled on the ground. The offensive line came alive and opened up a gaping hole on the first play of the half to spring star wide out Percy Harvin for 52 yard scamper up the right side of the field. From their the running game led by super Timmay pounded away at the Sooners the rest of the night and set up the play action jump pass to wide out David Nelson to seal the championship.

I enjoyed the game immensely from my nose bleed section 421 row 20 seat. Though I did not sit all night and lost my voice for a few days after that. All in a days work for a loyal fan and you better believe it was worth it!

Now that its been a few weeks we find out the Tim Tebow is coming back along with the entire defense. We lose Percy Harvin but he deserves to go to the NFL. I smell a REPEAT a coming!

BCS Championship Game

I cant say that I am a fan of the Bowl Championship Series, but I cant argue with it this year. As you all know my beloved Gators are set to square off against the Sooners of Oklahoma this Thursday night, but the best part about it is that I will be there live and in the flesh!

Thats right boys and girls, we (a few others that rock) are going to be rocking that staduim with a few thousand of my Gator brothers and sisters.

I am already prepared to be voiceless for Friday but if we win it will all have been worthwhile.

Aldos keys to Game and other such Notes:

  1. Win the field position battle (special teams)
  2. Win the turnover battle
  3. Play aggresive Defense
  4. Run it down their throats Tebow!!!
  5. When in doubt follow rule #4

As you may have noticed I have place the top priority on special teams. I believe with have the best special teams in the country and it could be on display on GAME DAY. So I give you BAM!

For all the Marbles.

Gators are back in the title game for the second time in three years. Led by the best overall player in college football Timmaaayy Tebow, the Gators look to put an end to all the doubts about their toughness brought upon by their one point loss earlier in the season to the Ole Miss.

Percy Harvin who missed the SEC championship game against previously unbeaten Alabama, is well ahead of schedule in his rehab of a high ankle sprain suffered the week before at Florida State.

The Game on Jan. 8th is about two weeks away. The time off will help the Gators get healthy and we have all seen what the University of Florida coaching staff can do with a little time to game plan. If not just ask Ohio State two seasons ago.

Best part is that I will be attending this national championship game and rooting on my Gators.

Its a shame that two of their key players are out for the game. You never want to get an advantage due to injury. We want them at full strength vs our full strength for a no holds bar championship.

P.S. My Brothers Birthday is also on Jan 8th so the Gators have a chance to give him a great birthday win from the state of Florida.

A little understanding

Its alwasy an experience having my old friend come to town. She is a really cool gal, with a good head on her shoulder and a good heart. Yet every time she comes down and hangs out we tend to fall into the same duldrum topics and conversations.

She tends to get very emotional and nostalgic. She tends to portray that she does not know what is going on at times and just gets flustered.

I sympathize with her but the bottom line is that she just vents her ass off.

I usually just sit there and listen and add my two cents here and there but this past time I decided to test her.

I throw out thoughts and jabs to feel her out and like usual go a bit overboard but I think that works to our advantage. I say that becuase she seems to get her priorities straight when she is put in the theoretical corner.

I assume it helps her see the bigger picture just like our last new years encounter helped me to see.

Some times I try to explain my actions but I only end up backtracking due to misunderstandings so I rather just write my thoughts out and let her be.

I will just leave with a message for her.

"Welcome to the Club."

PS. What club is that you peeps ask? The people that know what they want club.

A new continue

So its been a while; who am I kidding its been a lot more than a while. I was used to atleast putting up one or two posts a month and I think its been over two since my last addition.

Its been crazy to say the least. I say crazy cuase i dont know a better way to describe life in general. The are so many ups and downs and in betweens that make it so difficult to explain it exactly.

Alot of new experiences, thats for sure, new friends as well.

One thing I will elaborate on is my ankle, I had the misfortue of twisting both of them last monday night playing flag football with the boys. the first one was not so bad, but the second one was a killer. I could not walk on it for about 3 days and I still have a noticable limp. Its getting alot better now though.

Thats all I got for now, I need to go show and head out to work.

This is a special week for me and I need to hit the ground running.

Good luck to all you voters out there, hope we make the right choice or choices.

Much love

Experience the best teacher.

Never be afraid of the unknown, no matter how daunting it may seem.

If you really observe and experience the feeling, you realize its all mental.

New things feel so awkward, so I can see how we fall into that mental pitfall so effortlessly.

The great thing is that when you brave the unfounded awkwardness, and breakout of your shell.
PS. Shout out to the Laqueefa for doing her part in Gambia.

The best Photos I have taken.

I was never one to carry a camera due to the fact that I dislike pockets that weigh me down. Just carrying my cellphone was enough of an annoyance, but then I got my Sony/Ericsson W810i. It has a great 2.0 mega pixel camera built in that takes pretty good shots. Anyhow, I finally had a camera I was willing to tote and started taking pictures like a mad photographer man. I just live it up and when something out of the ordinary catches my eye I capture it on my phone. Now some are not very good but those are not the ones I am going to share with you today. The following are what I consider my best work. Enjoy.

PS. Each post will contain 4 pics.
This is 1 of how ever many

Hello world!

I am back for a bit, been pretty busy with school lately but I cant lie. Its been awsome going back to school and not haveing to work for the man. Its so liberating, so enjoyable to just go to school, study hard, play hard, and drink harder. I dont think that makes sense but who cares. I feel great. Post if you feel me.

Forget the curve ball, life threw me the gyro ball

I had it all set up. I started school this coming Monday and suddenly, just when I had learned to hit the curve, life throws the gyro. Incredible how this stuff happens. Good thing I currently subscribe to the things happen for a reason saying cause if not I would be stressing. That's all i got. Peace to all my peoples of the world.

First Loves: Hate them, love them or both.

First loves are great. They are great joys, they are great pains, they are great teachers of the relationships between us and our significant others. The important question is CAN we view them as the lessons that they are but in the end it all becomes crystal clear. Think of all the people who could tell you of their first experience of love and loss and how painful it was. Only to have them tell you that in retrospect it turned out for the best.

Feelings, especially the intimate kind have the ability to make us feel as if nothing else matters anymore, like if the world is upside down. We don't have perspective during these situations and there for cant gauge how unreasonable we are being. Most people tend to adopt a victims approach to the situation and compound the problem. Their heart aches, their mind is rattled and confused and out of feeling of not knowing whats to come rises a burning rage that consumes the person if left to fester. That is no way to live.

The advise to all whom wish to read it is to learn to see the lesson that is to be learned from any situations, especially these types of situations. Don't harden your heart, and take a victims approach, it will only eat you up inside. Learn to forgive and let go and be the best person you can be.

This post is dedicated to Sandro.

Miami or bust

Lately the thoughts of getting out of Miami have run rampant in my mind. Don't know if its me wanting a new start or just thinking that that's what I want. The truth is I love this city. Yes the traffic is horrible the people are unfriendly but its home. I do want to explore the country, let alone the world but there will be a time and a place for that. Whats so interesting is that everyone around the nation thinks this place is just what you see in the movies or on a vacation pamphlet. While we do have great weather year round and one of the best night scenes around, its the diverse culture that makes this place great. I can go around the block and its like if I am on the its a small world ride at Disney World with the addition of hundreds of little Cuban rafts floating around . Its also one of the few places in the nation where you don't have to speak a word of English to get by, and a little Spanglish goes along way.

The food hear is second to none, we got it all, Latin, Oriental, Middle Eastern, European, and I Australian if you count Outback. Watch some Australian read this and freak. Personally I love the Nicaraguan food, if your ever down hear go eat at what we call "Fritanga." Order some carne asada, maduros fritos, gallo pinto, and a drink called Cacao. Just cant go wrong with that order.

Now on to my favorite part, the women. OH MY EFF-ING GOD! In terms of looks, there is no finer place than the M-I-A. Trying not to generalize to much here but most are a bit on the snobbish side. NOTICE I said MOST ladies. They are gorgeous here and it seems that there are endless swarms of them. Just go to a mall, the universities, anywhere and you will be hard pressed not to find a knockout. I had to put this section in at the risk of sounding shallow.

Case in point I love my home.
