Close minded people and the sad but true outcome.

Have you ever gone through the experience of haveing tons of friends in your network, to one day coming to the realization that your network looks like the rival network portrayde on the Verizon wireless comercials. I am sure the feeling sucks. I mean you were once a person with connections to everyone, everywhere you went and suddenly its gone. Well thats sort of what happens to closed minded people in my opinion. If they dont see eye to eye with someone for some reason, they just burn the bridge. I known plenty of people like this, including myself. I must say that I believe I have gotten alot better but I tend to fall back on my old ways sometimes with some people. The key to getting better though is to realize they way you are. Let me probe the mind of such individuals by giving thier main view of the subject.
Ex.
"Someone did such and such to me, why should I try to fix the relatationship if they dont."

This is the common type of response or main train of thought of the persons I am refering too. I know there are people out there that really suck, and I am not implying that you try to do something about those type of people, but if its an old or close friend, and if all of it comes down to some type of misunderstanding which is usually the case, then I think that this train of thought is just a way to self-inflict problems and pain into your life. I have had a couple occasions where this has happend to me and have tried to fix it, but it was like talking to a wall. To top it all off, I make the mistake of getting very angry due to the frustration it brings. I dont understand how to break down those walls of iron clad will! How do you show what you truely mean when you dont have the means or the audience to do it? Thats the million dollar question. I will have to get back to you guys when i figure it out. I will end this by saying that people need to experience life and what other people (friends) have to offer, and you cant do that if you are living inside of your self-erected iron wall enclosure. If you dont you are most likely to suffer a long lonley life behind the iron clad door of your ego.
A moment of prayer and silence for the victims of the earthquake that struck Indonesia.

May they be at peace, May thier hearts remain open, May they awaken to the light of thier own true nature, May they be healed, May they be a source of healing for all beings.
Can you feel that HEAT ! The Pistons can! (Right Andre)

The Heat take thier 3 games to 1 lead to Detroit to try and seal the deal.

Wade County was rocking after this spectacular drive by Dwayne Wade.

The bench celebrates thier teams efforts.

This play was one of the most beautiful/ugliest plays ever!

Its Official!

This week marks my first flag football season as a coach. I figured i would start with flag football to get my feet wet and then move on to tackle. Mike "the turtle dove" Gutierrez and myself are the co-head coaches and we are going to start practice some time later on this week. I will take defensive coaching duties and Mike will handle offense, but we will both be involved on both sides of the ball. Time to make a name for myself. They say defense wins championships but Aldo coached defenses establish dynasties.
I'M EFFING SINKING!!!!!!!!!!ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The start of todays day has blown! I feel like if I am in quicksand. The more I fight the more I sink in it.

Update: It turned out to be a good day and i am thankful for all i got.

A Basketball critic on the 305 Boyz.

Luis " the high flying rat" Bendaña:

Pros: Good ball handling & Penetration. Solid short and mid range shot. Solid runner in the lane. Solid rebounder. Solid post game. Good initial effort but must improve conditioning. Good quickness when fresh.

Cons: Inconsistency, must improve court awareness and passing. Has tendancy to push off on rebounds. Needs to improve conditioning. Needs to work on switching off of picks. Needs to learn to move without the ball instead of giving it to some one so they can take on the entire defense by themselves, like he just tried before he got tired and passed. needs to work on cuts to the basket since he is more of a slasher.

Mike " the sea trutle " Gutierrez

Pros:
Good accuracy and range of shot, good court awarness, good passing. Good offensive awareness and play execution.

Cons:
They dont call him a turtle for nothing. must improve initial quickness and conditioning. needs to be more consistent on the boards, needs to develope a first step. Must improve defensive awareness and quickness. needs to move with out ball on cuts and rolls to the basket

Alex "Master of Disasters" Niemoff-Arvesu

Pros:
Great post presence and hustle, Great effort on defense, Good defensive awareness. Good rebounding. Block shot specialist.

Cons:
Needs to imporve Offensive awareness and passing. Needs to work on finesse moves in the post since he preferres to power it in. Needs to improve his short and mid range shot. Needs to improve on defensive switching after a pick. Would do well to develop a short hook in the lane. Needs to work on pick and roll and cuts to the baskett when he does not have ball.

Albert "Stars in your eyes" Castro

Pros:
Good initial quickness and first step. Good ball and head fakes, Good accuracy and range on shot. Solid court awarness. Solid post skills.

Cons:
Needs to improve stamina, and regain old quickness and form. Needs to improve passing.

Adri "my balls are on fire" Castro

Pros:
Good fakes and takes to the basket, good rebounding, solid shot blocking, solid defense.

Cons: SLOPPY AS FUCK, needs to take it up stronger, needs to improve passing, needs to penetrate and dish. Needs work on switching of the pick.

Vince "sure shot" Perri

Pros: Good hustle and intesity, solid in defense, has good range and accuracy on shot.

Cons:
Looks like a boy among men with his 5'5' height, needs to impove offensive awarness and passing.

David "livin in the past" Rodriguez

Pros: Good ball handling, good ball control, Solid rebounding, good ball fakes, solid quickness.

Neg: Lack repituar of moves besides usual perdictable move, needs to work on left hand. needs to work on defenseive awareness. Needs to improve passing and cuts to the basket. Needs to develop a jump shot to keep defenses honest. Needs to stop smoking ciggarettes and cock.

Aldo " My head will crack Cranium" Bendaña

Pros:
Good offensive awarness, good post presence, solid rebounding, Good short and mid-range shot, Good court awarness. Solid defense

Cons:
needs to imporve post game, pick and roll actions and cuts to the basket. needs to improve on boxing out and rebounding. Needs to develope a left dribble and work on the right to improve quickness. needs to work on switching of the pick. Needs to improve first step and ball fakes. Needs to work on the spin move and layups when playing with mike G. Needs to develop or should i say wants to develope a outside shot. needs to improve passing.

Miami is #1

#1 in ROAD RAGE! What a surprise right? Shit, anyone in Miami could have told them that. Its the only U.S. city I have driven, where you absolutly have to be an A-hole to get by. I have a daily struggle after work at around 6:00pm to try and get on the expressway ramp to the 836 from 72Ave. Its the norm around these parts, there is no surprise. I predict that in about 10 to 20 years they are going to come up with a survey that states that driving in Miami makes people more prone to dying of a heart attack in thier cars. Well atleast we have something to brag about to New Yorkers.
First images of 9/11 Pentagon attack

The first images of the pentagon attack on 9/11 were release today. It is a photo slide show of still frames that show the plane coming into the picture very low to the ground. If it didn't seem as if it were going very fast, you could mistake it for a car. You cant really make out a plane. Its just a glimps of the front of something. We all know that amount of disinformation out there, and I just dont buy all the crap that the people in control feed us. Why does it take untill today for these people to release a 5 frame slide show? Makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Well, what can we do? Just keep putting the peices together in hopes of one day getting to the truth. Click the link on the word pentagon at the begining of this post to see the actual slide show.

Coming together nicely.

Looks like the heat were just messing with us all along. Atleast thats what appeared to be the case. Who was that #8 out there? It sure as hell was not the Twan old. And what about the worn out Glove? He is starting to come around, and if he can consistently hit that 3 ball, the Pistons will be in for a rude awakening. But the thing that I am most excited about is that it finaly seems as though all the players are realizing what Pat Riley invisioned all along. Its as if they started out square pegs in a round hole and suddenly morphed into round holes. Dwayne Wade seems to have lost his tentativeness twards the basket and has got that fire in his eyes again. He is going strong to the basket, and getting people involved when they try to double him. I think establishing himself first is the key and then start drawing defenders and dishing for easy baskets. I think that this team will suprise many if they keep it up . Go Heat!

Jordanesque?

Not quite, but it is sure fun to think about it. The kid they call the Flash, is he for real? I think so, and I think he is going to be terrorizing this league for a long time to come. As far as Basketball skills go, Dwayne Wade is among the best if not the best in the entire league. Now this is were all my pro-Labron & pro-Kobe make belief readers come in and argue. You can argue about this, Kobe was never the player Dwayne is today at the same age. Kobe throughout the years became what he is, but Dwayne has had IT all along. He reminds me some much of this one player. Someone who's name i dont like to speak off when comparing a player, but they are just so similar. Granted Dwayne needs a couple more years in the league, but once he gets all the nuances and develops that three point shot that eluded Jordan for half of his career, he will be unstopable! This kid can only stop himself, skies the limit. So you heard it hear, in about 10 years, we will be asking who is the next Dwayne Wade.

The 12 Annual McDonalds Air & Sea Show

When: May 6 & 7
Where: Fort Lauderdale Beach

Looks to be a good show.

There is also gona be a Navy & Marine beach invasion.
The Faces of the Franchise

Dwayne Wade and Shaquile O'Neal got back on track in game 6 to close out the Bulls. The Heat took an early lead and never relinquished it. Shaq played like he was 24 years old again, scoring 30 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. He becomes the first Heat player to accumulate 20 points and 20 rebounds for the heat in a playoff game. If Wade continues to play under control and Shaq keeps up this level of play, the heat will definitely be title bound.

Thats bullSHIT!!!

Is what Pat "The Rat" Riley is saying to those old geezers who officiated the game last night. Is it me or are the bulls getting all the damn calls?! These last three games, starting with game 3 in Chicago have been appalling. And to make things worse, the Heat haven't shown heart until the final 10 minutes of last nights game. The one guy who really did step up was D-Wade. Earlier they knocked him down hard after going up for a basket and suffered a leg contusion. Everyone's heart sank when we saw him have to be helped to the locker room. The general consensus was that if Wade was out, the Heat was out. Fortunately he returned, and what a return it was. Everyone was on their feet, the crowd became electric. D-wade on a bum leg decided to take the team on his shoulders and dominate. He finished with a game high 28 points, 9 in the fourth. Hopefully he makes a swift recovery and we can proceed to annihilate these Bullshiters.

Disturbing behavior may lead to Heats undoing.

While I am not too thrilled with the Dallas draft, the performance of the heat last nite was purely nauseating. The Bulls have evened up the series at two apeice and it looks like they have all the momentum in the world right now. The heat on the other hand were dreadful and showed signs of unraveling when Gary Payton and Dwayne Wade got into a heated debate during the game. I am no history expert but i do know that civil wars divide countries and not to mention teams. Gary Payton needs to shut his big fat lips and produce. Dwayne Wade has been the lone shining star this entire year and he could use some help. Final thoughts, at this pace, there is no way in hell the heat advance to the finals in this state. Hope all is settled when it comes time to take the floor again for game 5.
