Tuning into my spirituality

I have come to the realization that there are two parts to each human being. One is the physical part which we are all very familiar with. The other being the spiritual side which happens to be a HUGE question mark for most if not all people. I know we all have a spiritual body or soul if you will. So why is that part of humanity forgotten and/or ignored? I dont know? I figure that we are running at half capacity due to this.

Armed with this new outlook, I decided that I would search for this missing piece of my existence and it has shown me to alot of different views on the subject. The funny thing is that most if not all these views share some type of common characteristcs. They are somehow linked as if by coinsidence. Now like I stated on one of my earlier post, I dont believe in coinsidences. Life throws opportunites at you all the time. For example, Your friend calls you to go to some party and you have no plans or previous engagments, here lies your first choice. You can either choose to be boring and stay home and hope that something unexpected happens at home (which never really does). Or you could choose to go, hang out with some friends and then by some "coinsidence" you meet someone like in that corny Dockers San Fransico commercial where the woman nails the waiter and etc. First off, it was not a coinsidence that you decided to go to the party and ended up meeting that person, it was you taking an opportunity give to you by life, god, etc. and you took advantage off it. Its as simple as that. Things happen for a reason. The example I gave is just that, an example, it can be any type of oportunity. We have all gone through it, any time when we were so glad that we went through with something that we were unsure of, and it turned out great.

Now for those thinking that god is my missing piece, you are right but your missing my point. I know that God is the missing piece, but I am not satisfied with the way the world interprets or understands God. I want to fully exerience God and I dont think i can do it by just accepting that there is a god and going to some church. There are acient and lost practices that are capable of helping us experience god fully. Teachings that world in general does not know about or has forgotten. I plan on rediscovering them

Now back to my sprituality topic. All these opportunites or coinsidences as most would call them, are constantly poping up. They have been pushing me further down this road in search of the truth or enlightenment. I believe we are all capable of this feat, we just got to want it, and today in age, that type of thought is in the minority. Sad but true, sad but true...

Here are a list of a few of the things that i have stumbled on,

* Meditation
* Chakras
* Flower of life
* Egypt
* StoneHenge
* Sphinx
* Atlantis
* Merkaba field
* Christ Grid
* Chakra music
* Indigo children = which i believe are key to turing this world around.

Some of these things we are familiar with, but just knowing what they look like is not everything. For example Stonehenge is not just some temple of the durids. Its a temple for the sun, its the reason for its construction. Every year on the summer solstice which just passed on June 20, there are celebrations held there. The location is the key to stonehenge. At the main opening to the monument is a large stone called the heel stone. On the summer solstice the sun rises on the point of the heel stone shown below. It was argued that the summer solstice alignment cannot be accidental. The sun rises in different directions in different geographical latitudes. For the alignment to be correct, it must have been calculated precisely for Stonehenge's latitude of 51° 11'. The alignment, therefore, must have been fundamental to the design and placement of Stonehenge. The alignment also made it clear that whoever built Stonehenge had precise astronomical knowledge of the path of the sun and, moreover, must have known before construction began precisely where the sun rose at dawn on midsummer's morning while standing on the future site of the monument. This point needs to be made because, as I suspect, with Stonehenge and many other such monuments, it was the site, a particular place within the landscape, that was important; only later were these sites marked in some more permanent manner by the digging of ditches and banks and (or instead) the erection of wood or stone structures. It also doubles as an eclipse calculator for both solar and lunar eclipses. This is linked to the christ grid because its a location on earth where grid lines pass through.

Ok i have bored you guys enough with my history lesson but the point is that the more things i stumble upon the clearer the picture gets. How does this relate to spirituality, well acient people have an acient wisdom which has saddly been lost to humanity in modern times. I think that there is a way to tap into that collective universal knowledge, we just need to find the key. That key is somewhere on this planet, i dont know who, where or what it is but i am conviced that i will fined it. If this does not make sense, then consider it a rant, but if it hits home, join the club and help us find that key...

Wow.

I don't know how I overlooked this post! This has to be one of your best to entries to date.

I think you're absolutely right on all fronts. God is too infinite and too inexhaustible for us to only know Him by claiming His existence and going to church. On the one hand, sure these things are an indication of our beliefs and our connection to God. But it doesn't completely define our connection with Him.

Sadly, I think that too many people people place a higher premium on RELIGION (rituals, norms, etc.) and less on SPIRITUALITY. While I think that one can't survive without the other, I wouldn't dare try to put the practice of religion above spiritual connection with God.

Great post!

thanks i was begining to think that this post was a little too out there... I put a lot of thought into it and its a big source of inspiration for me. I want to be what i and all of us where meant to be. Spiritual beings living with an undeniabale connection to god.
