For all the Marbles.

Gators are back in the title game for the second time in three years. Led by the best overall player in college football Timmaaayy Tebow, the Gators look to put an end to all the doubts about their toughness brought upon by their one point loss earlier in the season to the Ole Miss.

Percy Harvin who missed the SEC championship game against previously unbeaten Alabama, is well ahead of schedule in his rehab of a high ankle sprain suffered the week before at Florida State.

The Game on Jan. 8th is about two weeks away. The time off will help the Gators get healthy and we have all seen what the University of Florida coaching staff can do with a little time to game plan. If not just ask Ohio State two seasons ago.

Best part is that I will be attending this national championship game and rooting on my Gators.

Its a shame that two of their key players are out for the game. You never want to get an advantage due to injury. We want them at full strength vs our full strength for a no holds bar championship.

P.S. My Brothers Birthday is also on Jan 8th so the Gators have a chance to give him a great birthday win from the state of Florida.

A little understanding

Its alwasy an experience having my old friend come to town. She is a really cool gal, with a good head on her shoulder and a good heart. Yet every time she comes down and hangs out we tend to fall into the same duldrum topics and conversations.

She tends to get very emotional and nostalgic. She tends to portray that she does not know what is going on at times and just gets flustered.

I sympathize with her but the bottom line is that she just vents her ass off.

I usually just sit there and listen and add my two cents here and there but this past time I decided to test her.

I throw out thoughts and jabs to feel her out and like usual go a bit overboard but I think that works to our advantage. I say that becuase she seems to get her priorities straight when she is put in the theoretical corner.

I assume it helps her see the bigger picture just like our last new years encounter helped me to see.

Some times I try to explain my actions but I only end up backtracking due to misunderstandings so I rather just write my thoughts out and let her be.

I will just leave with a message for her.

"Welcome to the Club."

PS. What club is that you peeps ask? The people that know what they want club.

A new continue

So its been a while; who am I kidding its been a lot more than a while. I was used to atleast putting up one or two posts a month and I think its been over two since my last addition.

Its been crazy to say the least. I say crazy cuase i dont know a better way to describe life in general. The are so many ups and downs and in betweens that make it so difficult to explain it exactly.

Alot of new experiences, thats for sure, new friends as well.

One thing I will elaborate on is my ankle, I had the misfortue of twisting both of them last monday night playing flag football with the boys. the first one was not so bad, but the second one was a killer. I could not walk on it for about 3 days and I still have a noticable limp. Its getting alot better now though.

Thats all I got for now, I need to go show and head out to work.

This is a special week for me and I need to hit the ground running.

Good luck to all you voters out there, hope we make the right choice or choices.

Much love

I knew, I know

I knew everything that has ever happened.

All the good, all the bad.

I know everything that will happen next.

All the good, all the bad.

I knew and I know because I chose

and I still choose.

Experience the best teacher.

Never be afraid of the unknown, no matter how daunting it may seem.

If you really observe and experience the feeling, you realize its all mental.

New things feel so awkward, so I can see how we fall into that mental pitfall so effortlessly.

The great thing is that when you brave the unfounded awkwardness, and breakout of your shell.
PS. Shout out to the Laqueefa for doing her part in Gambia.

The best Photos I have taken.

I was never one to carry a camera due to the fact that I dislike pockets that weigh me down. Just carrying my cellphone was enough of an annoyance, but then I got my Sony/Ericsson W810i. It has a great 2.0 mega pixel camera built in that takes pretty good shots. Anyhow, I finally had a camera I was willing to tote and started taking pictures like a mad photographer man. I just live it up and when something out of the ordinary catches my eye I capture it on my phone. Now some are not very good but those are not the ones I am going to share with you today. The following are what I consider my best work. Enjoy.

PS. Each post will contain 4 pics.
This is 1 of how ever many

Hello world!

I am back for a bit, been pretty busy with school lately but I cant lie. Its been awsome going back to school and not haveing to work for the man. Its so liberating, so enjoyable to just go to school, study hard, play hard, and drink harder. I dont think that makes sense but who cares. I feel great. Post if you feel me.

Forget the curve ball, life threw me the gyro ball

I had it all set up. I started school this coming Monday and suddenly, just when I had learned to hit the curve, life throws the gyro. Incredible how this stuff happens. Good thing I currently subscribe to the things happen for a reason saying cause if not I would be stressing. That's all i got. Peace to all my peoples of the world.

First Loves: Hate them, love them or both.

First loves are great. They are great joys, they are great pains, they are great teachers of the relationships between us and our significant others. The important question is CAN we view them as the lessons that they are but in the end it all becomes crystal clear. Think of all the people who could tell you of their first experience of love and loss and how painful it was. Only to have them tell you that in retrospect it turned out for the best.

Feelings, especially the intimate kind have the ability to make us feel as if nothing else matters anymore, like if the world is upside down. We don't have perspective during these situations and there for cant gauge how unreasonable we are being. Most people tend to adopt a victims approach to the situation and compound the problem. Their heart aches, their mind is rattled and confused and out of feeling of not knowing whats to come rises a burning rage that consumes the person if left to fester. That is no way to live.

The advise to all whom wish to read it is to learn to see the lesson that is to be learned from any situations, especially these types of situations. Don't harden your heart, and take a victims approach, it will only eat you up inside. Learn to forgive and let go and be the best person you can be.

This post is dedicated to Sandro.

Miami or bust

Lately the thoughts of getting out of Miami have run rampant in my mind. Don't know if its me wanting a new start or just thinking that that's what I want. The truth is I love this city. Yes the traffic is horrible the people are unfriendly but its home. I do want to explore the country, let alone the world but there will be a time and a place for that. Whats so interesting is that everyone around the nation thinks this place is just what you see in the movies or on a vacation pamphlet. While we do have great weather year round and one of the best night scenes around, its the diverse culture that makes this place great. I can go around the block and its like if I am on the its a small world ride at Disney World with the addition of hundreds of little Cuban rafts floating around . Its also one of the few places in the nation where you don't have to speak a word of English to get by, and a little Spanglish goes along way.

The food hear is second to none, we got it all, Latin, Oriental, Middle Eastern, European, and I Australian if you count Outback. Watch some Australian read this and freak. Personally I love the Nicaraguan food, if your ever down hear go eat at what we call "Fritanga." Order some carne asada, maduros fritos, gallo pinto, and a drink called Cacao. Just cant go wrong with that order.

Now on to my favorite part, the women. OH MY EFF-ING GOD! In terms of looks, there is no finer place than the M-I-A. Trying not to generalize to much here but most are a bit on the snobbish side. NOTICE I said MOST ladies. They are gorgeous here and it seems that there are endless swarms of them. Just go to a mall, the universities, anywhere and you will be hard pressed not to find a knockout. I had to put this section in at the risk of sounding shallow.

Case in point I love my home.

Twists and Turns

Its been pleasant lately, no worry, no fuss, no job, no boss. Quite peaceful, boring and uneventful would be the right description. Sometimes we have no idea what we get ourselves into and we tend to worry about the uncertainty. It does not seem so bad if you have the right frame of mind though. Its actually becomes fun to not know whats next. This subject was touched upon on the last post but since its all that's happened since then, it makes sense to elaborate more on it. Cant help but notice that in these unknown situations in life we tend to try and script our next few moves. It hardly ever works out, at least not how we saw it drawn out in our minds. The monkey wrench gets thrown in the gears a couple times and we are confronted by new circumstances and challenges. At this moment in time I figured I would be heading out west but the wind has started to blows in a new direction. Its comfortingly (don't know if this is a word but w/e) weird how things come together to make situations happen. Seems as if it all starts out with an innocent thought brought to life by the will of the person who thought it. Willed into the situations and scenarios that are needed for the end result to take place. Those who master the recognition of these subtle events seem have the ability to shape their lives much more effectively than the rest. Its almost like being able to realize that what you're witnessing is the future unfold.

Leaps of faith

Its been a wild last four weeks. It feels so much longer though. A change is on the horizon, its presence strongly felt. Today might not be the day; tommorrow either. The self has had its face splashed with cold water and is quickly waking up. What tommorrow holds is anyones guess. What once used to be a scary thought is now exciting. New faces, new places, are just as fresh as this mornings dew. Its crazy to think of what happend and what is waiting to happen. A feeling of fear streaks through and is replaced by a sense of knowing that the path is being followed. The knowing that the intensions are pure and just. That happines is worth the pain of a bad day; That nothing comes easy and without risk.

Is this gonna matter in a year.

Great idea, what they don't tell you is that there will be days when someone throws the monkey wrench into the cogs of your in balance machine and throws you off course.

The good news is that with a little perspective you can realize that its just a pebble sized situation on road of life. Now how do we go about getting that perspective? In our times of anxiety where the overall feeling is that the world as we know it is about to end we just need to think of one simple question. Is this going to matter a year from now?

This simple little question gives you a different perspective from the apocalyptic one running through our minds. You kind of settle down and realize that what was once considered a huge problem becomes an after thought.
