Forget the curve ball, life threw me the gyro ball
I had it all set up. I started school this coming Monday and suddenly, just when I had learned to hit the curve, life throws the gyro. Incredible how this stuff happens. Good thing I currently subscribe to the things happen for a reason saying cause if not I would be stressing. That's all i got. Peace to all my peoples of the world.

First Loves: Hate them, love them or both.
First loves are great. They are great joys, they are great pains, they are great teachers of the relationships between us and our significant others. The important question is CAN we view them as the lessons that they are but in the end it all becomes crystal clear. Think of all the people who could tell you of their first experience of love and loss and how painful it was. Only to have them tell you that in retrospect it turned out for the best.
Feelings, especially the intimate kind have the ability to make us feel as if nothing else matters anymore, like if the world is upside down. We don't have perspective during these situations and there for cant gauge how unreasonable we are being. Most people tend to adopt a victims approach to the situation and compound the problem. Their heart aches, their mind is rattled and confused and out of feeling of not knowing whats to come rises a burning rage that consumes the person if left to fester. That is no way to live.
The advise to all whom wish to read it is to learn to see the lesson that is to be learned from any situations, especially these types of situations. Don't harden your heart, and take a victims approach, it will only eat you up inside. Learn to forgive and let go and be the best person you can be.

Miami or bust
Lately the thoughts of getting out of Miami have run rampant in my mind. Don't know if its me wanting a new start or just thinking that that's what I want. The truth is I love this city. Yes the traffic is horrible the people are unfriendly but its home. I do want to explore the country, let alone the world but there will be a time and a place for that. Whats so interesting is that everyone around the nation thinks this place is just what you see in the movies or on a vacation pamphlet. While we do have great weather year round and one of the best night scenes around, its the diverse culture that makes this place great. I can go around the block and its like if I am on the its a small world ride at Disney World with the addition of hundreds of little Cuban rafts floating around . Its also one of the few places in the nation where you don't have to speak a word of English to get by, and a little Spanglish goes along way.
The food hear is second to none, we got it all, Latin, Oriental, Middle Eastern, European, and I Australian if you count Outback. Watch some Australian read this and freak. Personally I love the Nicaraguan food, if your ever down hear go eat at what we call "Fritanga." Order some carne asada, maduros fritos, gallo pinto, and a drink called Cacao. Just cant go wrong with that order.
Now on to my favorite part, the women. OH MY EFF-ING GOD! In terms of looks, there is no finer place than the M-I-A. Trying not to generalize to much here but most are a bit on the snobbish side. NOTICE I said MOST ladies. They are gorgeous here and it seems that there are endless swarms of them. Just go to a mall, the universities, anywhere and you will be hard pressed not to find a knockout. I had to put this section in at the risk of sounding shallow.
Case in point I love my home.

Twists and Turns
Its been pleasant lately, no worry, no fuss, no job, no boss. Quite peaceful, boring and uneventful would be the right description. Sometimes we have no idea what we get ourselves into and we tend to worry about the uncertainty. It does not seem so bad if you have the right frame of mind though. Its actually becomes fun to not know whats next. This subject was touched upon on the last post but since its all that's happened since then, it makes sense to elaborate more on it. Cant help but notice that in these unknown situations in life we tend to try and script our next few moves. It hardly ever works out, at least not how we saw it drawn out in our minds. The monkey wrench gets thrown in the gears a couple times and we are confronted by new circumstances and challenges. At this moment in time I figured I would be heading out west but the wind has started to blows in a new direction. Its comfortingly (don't know if this is a word but w/e) weird how things come together to make situations happen. Seems as if it all starts out with an innocent thought brought to life by the will of the person who thought it. Willed into the situations and scenarios that are needed for the end result to take place. Those who master the recognition of these subtle events seem have the ability to shape their lives much more effectively than the rest. Its almost like being able to realize that what you're witnessing is the future unfold.
